Mixtape of new Russian cinema scores focused on the eternal artistic trope «russian toska»

This is not an attempt to collect a set of how the new Russian cinema sounds. Rather, musical excerpts and snippets of phrases that touched. Sometimes in memory they line up in associative chains and carry memories of entire films and more than just films.

When I finished this mixtape, I realized that it can be best described by the concept of ‘Russian toska’, which is considered to be untranslatable into other languages, and perhaps, simply inexpressible. And since, by verbalising emotions, we certainly transform it and lose something, then perhaps we can make it feel differently.
